Excellent food and great service! We enjoyed our food fresh and hot with very good ingredients. Friendly service and nice welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed the friendly waitress and the drinks were very refreshing. A great place for dinner with the family.

Finally round 2 for bro night happened after months of trying to make plans. We were going to check out Shiok but one bro was running late so we headed over to Jarrito Loco Tacos instead. I've passed by this place more times than I can count.
We dropped in on a Tuesday evening (around 5:15pm) and it was empty. I was surprised it actually got busier along with a few people grabbing takeout. The inside has plenty of seating and is run by a two person crew. Randomly saw Todd Talbot (aka. the guy from Love it or List it) eating with his family.
The menu is one page of entrees, mains and sides. There's also drinks and desserts.
- Sauce - this sauce helped saved a lot of the dishes. Slight kick to it. Our table finished the whole jar.
- Horchata ($3.00 small)
- Horchata ($5.00 large) - the large comes in a pink jar. Our Mexican friend didn't like it. He said it didn't taste homemade.
- 2x Chips and salsa ($1.50) - we ordered some chips while we waited. Barely any chips and it's salty.
- 2x Gringa ($6.50 each) - flour tortilla with pork, mozzarella cheese, onion and cilantro. Wow, I didn't realize that one of these was $6.50! Insane although this was the best thing we ordered. Our Mexican friend wasn't impressed; apparently, this is not how's it's normally made/presented.
- 4x Pupusa ($3.50 each) - we tried two pupusas with beans, two with pork and cheese. The latter was the better option. It came with the usual side of coleslaw (curtido) and tomato salsa. Skip on the beans; it was bland and unmemorable. Pork and cheese was a little better but we've had better pupusas elsewhere.
- 2x Deep fried tacos ($7.00 for 2) - deep fried tacos stuffed with chicken, lettuce salad, tomato sauce and feta cheese. Tacos had a good crunchy bite but the chicken filling was slightly dry and bland. Feta cheese crumbled on top didn't add much to dish.
- 4x Tacos ($2.75 each) - pork, onion and cilantro. Pork was slightly dry and salty. The taco itself lacked in texture. Very average.
Happy that I finally was able to try JLT but likely won't be back anytime soon. Food is okay but not authentic. 2.5 stars. The search for decent Mexican continues... -

I've been here two times. First time I ordered burritos to go, I'm sad to inform they weren't as good as I thought. They had more rice than normal and just a few pieces of chicken.
Second time was better, I ordered the fried tacos and a "agua de horchata", great choice. The horchata tasted deliciously homemade and the tacos were great, filled with barbacoa, very well done. Hot sauces also tasted homemade, so that was another plus.
It's not the best Mexican restaurant around, but it does the job. If you're in a hurry or on a budget, this is a good choice. -

Newly opened mexican restaurant occupying an old chinese retaurant that is now closed..the old chairs and wooden tables are still there, well lighted now and it looks better.
The place can house morethan 30 people roughly, waiter service.
Menu is short and easy to understand.Fairly new so everyone is still adjusting, neat place, limited parking and street parking, noise level is average, accept credit, debit and cash.
Decors are contemporary, clean washroom, tables ang floor very clean.
My review with the foods only accounted for what i ordered.athe nachos comes in small and large size nothing really special,i got the taco aswell it comes in 3 pieces and what is good is that u can get 3 kinds of meat,i got the beef, the pork and the chorizo, the presentation is great sauce comes in small ceramic pan which is so cute..tastewise tacos ate great.
Service is not bad the waitress is bi lingual and very friendly.
They serve alcoholic bevereges, pricing is just okay not the cheapest in town bit reasonable.
I would say the place is good for group, kids, family and awesome with clients who loves mexican cuisines.
I cant remember if they have a TV but onething sure wifi is free...
Maybe i will visit again soon so i can try some other dishes in the menu... -

Nice to see another Mexican restaurant pop up on kingsway.
I had a good first impression when we came in. Even though the decor was pretty minimal the restaurant was very clean. The staff was also super friendly.
We ordered small bulldogs for drinks. For food we ordered chips and salsa, a regular quesadilla and mulitas.
We were pleased with our food and drinks. I would definitely come back and try more items on the menu.
It was about 630 on a Saturday night when we were leaving the restaurant. The place was almost full. I can see this place becoming popular quick.
